Hi, I’m Steven, "the Right eye" behind Lakeland Visual. Born in Trois-Rivieres, QC, I am now based in Bonnyville, AB. I specialize in capturing moments that feel real, not rehearsed.

My photography journey started with a simple goal: to freeze time in a way that tells the truth of a moment, not just what’s expected. Over the years, I've photographed everything from military ceremonies and community galas to quiet portraits and moody outdoor scenes. But I’ve never been interested in playing by the rules.

I believe photography is art, not just documentation. Sometimes the best shot isn't perfectly posed or lit by golden hour. It's found in the in-between: the off-angle glance, the shadows, the raw, imperfect moments that say something real. I often choose to go against what traditional photography says is “right” because I care more about feeling than formula.
